"I hate life." Can you say that?
I see people everywhere talking about their lives, saying how crappy it is, how everything is going the wrong way, how they feel alone, depressed, filled with sorrow. They speak this as if they know exactly how Haiti and Chile feel after the earthquakes, how painful it is for children in Africa to walk miles just to obtain a small puddle of muddy water. We are in no place to say that life is horrible and we hate it. Since when did the poor countries have a chance even to go to school? Are we basing our opinions on the people here, one of the richest countries in the world? Humble yourself, and look in the eyes of the children in the poorest countries in the world. Only then will we all know the true pain of this world and how fortunate we are to be in such a wonderful and safe country.
